The 27th Annual AUGUST INSTITUTE
Save the Date Join us in-person or virtually July 30th - August 1st, 2025 at DeSmet School, Missoula, MT In preparation for the 2025 August Institute, we will be taking suggestions for a new conference tagline. We hope you will take a moment to share your suggestion with us. The person who submits the winning tagline will receive a $25 Amazon gift card from MTPLC.
In 2023, the tagline was "A Quarter Century of Excellence in Professional Development." In 2024, the tagline was "Connecting Innovators and Educators Under the Big Sky" The 27th Annual August Institute will be held July 30th-August 1, 2025 at a NEW LOCATION--DeSmet School--located at 6355 Padre Lane. Missoula, MT. We will also offer a remote attendance option. The conference will focus on technology integration in core content areas with additional sessions such as mindfulness, SEL, IEFA, G&T, STEAM, the Arts, etc. Jeff Crews and Dean Phillips will keynote the event. Participants from Blackfoot schools will receive free registration, as will participants from schools that are members of the Montana Small Schools Alliance and participants from schools located on an Indian Reservation or a border town school with majority Native students. By moving to a new location, we are striving to keep registration costs low as we return to charging a fee for attendance for participants who don't qualify for scholarships.
