Learning together

Hands-on learning, side by side

The August Institute brings Montana educators together to learn, share and connect before the school year begins. Past participants have gone beyond the conference room, including raising a tipi together on the lawn.

• A fully virtual day on Friday

Indian Education for All

Indian Education for All (IEFA) is part of the August Institute experience, with learning grounded in the cultures and histories of Montana's tribal nations.

Montana's constitution recognizes the distinct and unique cultural heritage of American Indians. IEFA sessions help educators bring that heritage into every classroom.
