​CharacterStrong Staff Readiness Training is a virtual professional learning series designed for elementary educators (Grades K–5) who are implementing or preparing to implement CharacterStrong practices and curriculum within their schools.
This combined training series includes:
  • Level 1: Foundations Staff Readiness Training
  • Level 2: Focusing Staff Readiness Training

Participants will engage in interactive learning experiences that support stronger school culture, student belonging, social-emotional learning, and sustainable implementation practices.

Level 1: Foundations Staff Readiness Training
The Foundations training is designed to help educators build shared language, confidence, and readiness around social, emotional, and character development. This session introduces the “why” behind CharacterStrong while preparing staff to implement practices and curriculum with fidelity.

Participants will:
  • Explore the purpose and research behind the work
  • Experience a sample CharacterStrong lesson
  • Learn implementation best practices
  • Become familiar with CharacterStrong tools and resources

Level 2: Focusing Staff Readiness Training
The Focusing training builds on the Foundations experience by helping educators deepen implementation practices, strengthen instructional consistency, and focus on high-impact strategies that support sustainable culture and climate work.

Participants will:
  • Strengthen implementation systems and routines
  • Deepen understanding of CharacterStrong practices
  • Focus on strategies that improve student connection and belonging
  • Reflect on ways to sustain long-term impact within school communities

  • Participants must have access to the CharacterStrong platform and materials through their school or district in order to fully participate in training activities.
  • AI note-taking tools, automated transcription services, and session recordings are not permitted during sessions.
  • Session recordings will not be provided.
