The Montana Professional Learning Collaborative (MTPLC) partners with schools and districts to provide customized instructional support through Shawn Harris, an experienced professional learning designer, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, and Montana educator.
Shawn brings more than 30 years of experience as a Montana educator, instructional coach, curriculum author, and professional learning designer. Her experience includes coaching teachers and school leaders, authoring the College Board's SpringBoard Mathematics curriculum, and serving as Director of AP Instructional Resources & Professional Learning for the College Board.

Mathematics, STEM & Curriculum Support
Strengthen mathematics and STEM instruction through practical, classroom-focused professional learning and consultation.
Support may include mathematics instructional strategies, problem-based learning, STEM integration, curriculum implementation, multi-grade instructional support, and teacher coaching.
Shawn brings more than 20 years of mathematics instruction and coaching experience in Montana schools and is an author of the College Board's SpringBoard Mathematics series.

Professional Consultation & Direct Services — $132/hour
The $132/hour client rate may be used for approved direct services such as:
Travel & Reimbursable Expenses
For onsite engagements requiring travel, travel expenses are additional to the $132/hour professional service rate.
Allowable travel expenses may include mileage, lodging, meals and incidentals, and other approved necessary travel expenses at the applicable federal reimbursement rates. Travel requiring reimbursement must be approved in advance.
Shawn is running the AP Cohort and has a self-paced course Teaching Math K-12 Using the Standards for Mathematical Practice.
