August 7, 2025 in Big Timber, MT
Mr. Dustin Hoon, M.Ed./Bio: As a visual artist and art instructor I see an inextricable link between the two. On the one hand, I am pursuing and creating content in order to realize artwork, enable a need, and influence lives; on the other, I am researching methodologies, exercising skills, and relating to learning humans. I strive to provide an experiential learning environment for all manner of personality types, learning styles, and aptitudes. With a Bachelor's Degree in fine arts and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and instruction, my eighteen years of teaching public school impels me to explore the relationships between place, purpose, people, creativity and consumption I am grateful to operate in two fields that inform each other and my creativity, musings, and obligations to humanity. Exploring place-based making and Indian Education for All is not just an obligation it is a natural path on the creative journey of art education. Join me and let’s learn, make and explore together.
