Regulation for All: Simple tools to maintain
well-being in the classroom for kids AND teachers
Free/Virtual
Tuesdays | 4:00–5:00 p.m. MT
Facilitated by Jess Matthiae
Educators spend their days helping students learn, connect, manage emotions, and navigate challenges—but maintaining our own regulation while supporting students can be difficult.
Regulation for All is an interactive 8-session virtual series designed to give educators and others who work with children simple, practical tools for supporting nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, and a healthier classroom flow—for both students and adults.
Our current culture can leave children and adults feeling increasingly “up-regulated”—experiencing agitation, anxiety, hyperactivity, overwhelm, and stress. While we cannot control every source of stress, we can develop greater awareness of our own nervous systems and learn concrete strategies for responding before dysregulation takes over.
Throughout this series, participants will experience and practice breathing techniques, movement, mindfulness, nervous-system access points, connection strategies, and other enjoyable “down-regulating” tools. Strategies are designed to be realistic for busy educators and easy to incorporate into everyday routines—from morning meetings and classroom transitions to walking down the hallway.
