Workshop Description:
This collaborative virtual series, hosted by MTPLC and Brightways Learning, provides educators with practical tools and strategies to support instruction in multi-grade classrooms, increase student engagement, and build long-term resiliency.
Rooted in Brightways Learning’s PEAK Teaching for Excellence and Full-Color Webs of Support™ frameworks, these sessions draw on years of research-backed best practices to strengthen teaching effectiveness and educator well-being. Whether you’re navigating the demands of a multi-grade classroom or supporting diverse student needs, this series offers powerful, ready-to-use strategies to foster classroom success and personal sustainability.
Each of the five sessions blends high-impact instructional practices with interactive delivery using Mentimeter, Padlet, and breakout discussions for engagement and collaboration. Participants may register for the full series or individual sessions.

1. January 13, 2026: Success That Motivates Students to Engage
Build a classroom where students feel confident, safe, and eager to participate through strategies that promote psychological safety, reduce off-task behavior, and foster engagement.
2. January 27, 2026: Increase the Likelihood of Student Success Through Clear Instructions
Learn the Launch Buttons, One Step at a Time, and Every, Every, Every strategies to give directions students can follow confidently the first time.
3. February 10, 2026: Leverage Class Time and Practice Time (Homework) to Increase Retention
Explore ways to extend learning beyond the school day with purposeful practice, group work, and student self-monitoring.
4. February 24, 2026: Increase Academic Success Through Positive Relationships with Students
Strengthen trust and connection with students by promoting psychological safety and reducing power struggles.
5. March 10, 2026: Love Your Job Longer: An Educator’s Guide to Everyday Resilience
Develop self-care practices and boundaries to sustain joy, purpose, and well-being in your teaching career.
