Designed for classroom teachers, instructional coaches, specialists, and support staff, the series provides practical, classroom-ready strategies to increase student engagement, organization, independence, and access to learning across grade levels. Participants will explore:
Bio: Kelly Miller Kelly Miller is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Autism Consultant with more than two decades of hands-on experience across mental health and school settings. She specializes in helping educators expand their instructional repertoires to include not only academic supports, but also social, emotional, and behavioral systems that strengthen student success. Kelly is known for her practical, classroom-embedded approach—coaching educators, modeling strategies in real time, and equipping teams with tools that create immediate, positive behavior momentum. Her workshops emphasize inclusive practices and empower teachers with a “take-away toolkit” of evidence-based strategies they can apply right away to reclaim valuable learning time. Workshop Format
Session 1 – Executive Functioning Strategy Toolbox 📅 January 20, 2026 | ⏰ 3:30–5:00 PM Participants will explore the nine core executive functioning skills and learn classroom strategies that support each one. Time will be spent assessing current classroom needs and developing take-away strategies for specific students. Session 2 – Organizational Apps and Systems 📅 February 3, 2026 | ⏰ 3:30–5:00 PM Participants will examine visual supports, organizational apps, and classroom systems designed to reduce everyday organizational barriers. Educators will preview and create procedures that improve student access to learning. Session 3 – Homework and Self-Monitoring 📅 February 17, 2026 | ⏰ 3:30–5:00 PM Participants will explore tools and systems that build student independence in self-monitoring. Learn strategies to help students set, track, and meet individual learning goals, along with tips to support families during homework time. Session 4 – Strategies for Dyslexic Learners 📅 February 24, 2026 | ⏰ 3:30–5:00 PM Participants will learn and practice research-aligned strategies to enhance access to reading, writing, and math for dyslexic learners, focusing on practical classroom application.
