📅  September 3, 2026 — 🕒4:00 PM–5:00 PM (MST)
📅  September 17, 2026 — 🕒6:00 PM–7:00 PM (MST)
📅  September 24, 2026 — 🕒4:00 PM–5:00 PM (MST)

Join us for a practical and engaging professional learning opportunity focused on the responsibilities that come with using artificial intelligence as an education professional. As AI tools become increasingly common in schools, educators must understand not only how to use them effectively, but also how to use them responsibly.

In this one-hour webinar, facilitated by Montana Digital Academy's Frontier Learning Lab, participants will explore professional expectations for reviewing AI-generated content, protecting student and family information, understanding when and how to disclose AI use, and ensuring that professional expertise remains at the center of every decision.

Participants will:
  • Explore the professional responsibilities associated with AI use in education
  • Learn the Frontier Learning Lab's **Safe, Specific, Responsible Framework**
  • Develop practical habits for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before use
  • Understand privacy considerations and best practices for protecting student and family information
  • Examine when and how to communicate or disclose AI use appropriately
  • Build confidence discussing AI use with colleagues, administrators, and families
  • Strengthen decision-making practices that keep educator expertise at the center of AI-supported work

This webinar is facilitated by the Frontier Learning Lab team at Montana Digital Academy.

The Frontier Learning Lab supports K–12 educators across Montana with AI literacy professional development, vetted tools, and policy resources. We believe that no matter their zip code, every teacher and every student deserves access to high-quality learning opportunities, whether for their profession or their education.

Every Frontier Learning Lab facilitator brings hands-on experience helping Montana educators navigate AI with confidence and uses the same practical, no-pressure approach: pedagogy first, your judgment at the center.
