AP® English Language and Composition AP English Language and Composition - APSI Online @ Montana APSI June 24, 2024—June 27, 2024 8:00 AM-4:00 PM MT Instructor: Marie Ramsey Marie Ramsey has taught AP English Language and Composition at Reno High School in Reno, Nevada, since 2002. She has served as English Department Chair, Washoe County School District facilitator and collaborator for ELA Curriculum Design, and lead facilitator for district AP Professional Development Mock Readings. A College Board Consultant, Marie has served at the AP Reading since 2011 as a reader and table leader. Marie attended the University of Nevada, Reno, and has undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Speech Communication and an MA in the Teaching of English with a focus on Writing and Rhetoric. She earned her National Board Certification in 2019. During this AP English Language and Composition APSI, you’ll explore the course framework, the exam, and the new AP resources that will help you plan and focus instruction—and give you feedback throughout the year on the areas where individual students need additional focus. You’ll also learn about completing the digital activation process at the start of the school year that will give you immediate access to the new resources and will help ensure that your students can register for AP Exams by the new fall deadlines.
